EWB-UMCP Wins Southeast Regional Conference Scholarship

EWB-UMCP Wins Southeast Regional Conference Scholarship

The University of Maryland chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) applied for and received a scholarship for $500 from the EWB-USA Southeast Regional Board. This money is meant to go towards reducing costs for students to travel to Atlanta, GA for the 2013 Southeast Regional Conference. The conference is held once a year in the fall, and is an opportunity for students to network with EWB members from other chapters, as well as learn from them. Travel costs for these events are expensive, so this scholarship is a great chance for more students to travel.
