Jacob joined Engineers Without Borders as a sophomore looking for a way to gain real world engineering experience and make a lasting positive impact on a community. He joined the Nakifuma, Uganda project as part of the water subteam, where he worked on the implementation of pour flush toilets. Jacob is now starting his second semester as Co-Events Chair and is excited to host a number of new and returning events! Aside from EWB, Jacob is also a part of Wind TERPines, a competition Wind Turbine team, and works at the Advanced Fabrication Lab. His hobbies include soccer, basketball, volleyball, and cooking.
