Avanti joined EWB as a freshman interested in furthering their engineering knowledge while contributing positively to the world. As part of the Nakifuma, Uganda project, Avanti is the lead of the waste management subteam. Outside of EWB, Avanti is involved in the QUEST Honors program, research at the Environmental Engineering lab, the CEE mentor program, and Lambda Pi Delta, a professional French fraternity. They also love to cook, go to concerts, and hang out with their friends.
