Will joined EWB because he wanted to gain more hands-on experience with engineering concepts and liked the humanitarian aspect of the organization. He joined the mounting subteam for the Kiryabicooli, Uganda project his freshman year. He eventually became involved with the solar subteam and helped design a solar PV system for classrooms in the community. He traveled in the summer of 2022 and helped implement this system. Currently, Will is the project lead for the Kiryabicooli project and hopes to travel again with his team in the winter.
